Can we consume Nuts (almonds, walnuts, cashews, etc)?

If you are trying to heal a disease or lose weight- avoid nuts. They are very heavy and water-poor in nature, making them difficult to digest.

Once you have healed yourself / reached desired weight, you may have them occasionally in a sparing amount (not more than 5-7 in a day). Eating too many nuts and seeds can even be constipating.

If you are an athlete, child, or doing intense physical workouts (1-2 hours a day) you may have them a bit more often.

Always make sure that you soak the nuts before eating. This brings them from a dormant to an active state.
