CAN WE HAVE SOAKED DRY FRUITS IN BREAKFAST?

Nuts are water poor in nature and are difficult to digest. During morning time, our digestive fires are not fully ignited after a 16 hour fast. It's best to go slow and start with easily digestible foods like a single fruit or a combination of fruits from the same family. You can have nuts in your salad or as a topping on soups during lunch time when your digestive fire is strong. You can eat all types of dried fruits but please remember to soak them for 4-6 hours before eating. We should also throw away the water that was used for soaking the nuts as it contains enzyme inhibitors.

If you're trying to heal a disease, nuts should be avoided altogether, till your disease is fully reversed.
