Can we consume soy/soya?
We do not recommend store-bought soy or soy products (soymilk, soybean or tofu).
Store-bought soy products are cooked and packaged many months in advance and lathered with synthetic preservatives which are toxic to health.
If you want to have soy products, make them at home. Even then, consume them only occasionally, as soy is difficult to digest compared to other grains.
Coconut is superior to soy, in terms of nutrition and digestibility.
If you're concerned about the protein needs of children and athletes, give them sprouts of lentils (such as moong) or of vegetable seeds (such as alfalfa, clover, fenugreek, radish, beetroot).
