Can we consume lentils?
We do not recommend lentils (daal) if you are trying to cure a health problem or lose excess weight, as they are very difficult to digest compared to other grains.
However, once you are fully cured, you can eat sprouted lentils occasionally in replacement for your grain meal. Sprouting a lentil makes it more digestible and increases the life force (prana) within it. Types of sprouted lentils you can eat are mung, arhar, chana, etc.
On the other hand, lentil sprouts are very good for athletes and children, as they are good bodybuilding food. They can consume sprouted lentils every day.
Also, make sure that the lentils you consume are wholesome and unpolished.
