How to suncharge water?

1) Take a shallow earthen pot with a broad surface area. You may also use a glass container, but do not use plastic.

2) Pour drinkable filtered water into the pot.

3) Place the pot outside in direct sunlight. The best is to place it on bare earth. If bare earth is not available then choose a suitable material. Do not place it on the grass.

4) Cover the pot with a thin muslin cloth to prevent dirt from entering the water. Tie the cloth to the pot using a rope or a string.

5) Leave the container outside for a minimum of 5 hours. Depending on the season, the water will be fully sun-charged between 5 to 8 hours.

6) Pour the sun-charged water into a water dispenser and drink within the next 24 hours. There is no need to refrigerate this water.
