Can we consume seeds (chia,flax,sabja,melon,sunflower)?

If you are trying to heal a disease or lose weight- avoid seeds. They are very heavy and water-poor in nature, making them difficult to digest. However, you may have them occasionally in a sparing amount (not more than 1-2 tablespoons a day). Eating too many nuts and seeds can even be constipating.

Whenever possible, soak the seeds before eating. This brings them from a dormant to an active state.

If you are an athlete, child or doing intense physical workouts (1-2 hours a day) you may have them a bit more often.
