Which direction should we face while practicing yoga?
According to the Vedas, the ancient scriptures of Hinduism, it is traditional to face the east while practicing yoga. This is because the east is associated with the rising sun, which is a symbol of new beginnings, renewal, and spiritual enlightenment. Facing the east during yoga practice is thought to help align one's energy with the positive, uplifting energy of the sun.
However, it is also important to note that the direction in which one faces while practicing yoga is not as important as the intention and focus that one brings to their practice. Ultimately, the most important thing is to find a comfortable and stable position that allows you to focus on your breath and stay present in the moment.
