How to increase mother's milk?
For the first 6 months, ideally the baby should stay only on breast milk. Breastfeeding should be continued for at least 2 years.
After 6 months, we can add fruit juices, vegetable juices, coconut water and vegetable soups to their diet.
However, if milk is not sufficient, you can start this at 5 months after consultation with the doctor.
To enhance mother's milk, you can drink the juice of doob ghaas (Bermuda grass) every morning. Take about 60 ml on empty stomach and do not eat anything for the next 2 hours. One can also have the milk of groundnuts. Soak groundnuts for 24 hours and next day mix water and blend the groundnuts to extract milk (consume diluted with some water). Consume this as the first feed and keep a gap of 2 hours before consuming any food so that the milk gets assimilated properly. You can also consume the milk of cotton seeds prepared in the same way.
This way, the mother's milk will be sufficient for the baby.
When the teeth appear (most babies develop teeth between 6 and 12 months), we can add fruits, boiled vegetables, and coconut milk smoothies to their diet.
After 1.5 years, we can add vegetables and chiwda.
After 2 years, we can start gradually giving normal food (satvic daliya, satvic khichdi, boiled potatoes, millets, lentils, vegetable sprouts, etc.)
In terms of frequency of meals, mother needs to identify how often the child feels hungry during the day and accordingly, give food.
Then, when the child is ready to enter school, he/she should be following the adult program (the building plan).
